Building and grounds Committee Chairman
Robert Carlucci
There is no community garden without a community.
We are currently seeking out volunteers to
contribute as much of their time and talent as possible.
This opportunity is perfect for those who love gardening
and any high school student needing
COMMUNITY SERVICE HOURS.
The responsibilities include follow-up maintenance
such things as picking up any litter and
typical gardening routines
as weeding,
pruning,
yearly mulching and
thinning out specific plants
and moving them to other parts of the community.
We will provide all of the tools necessary for the project
but we need your time and talent
for the years ahead
to keep this area as beautiful as possible
and to expand it throughout the rest of our community.
Not only do we need people willing to keep the plants beautiful,
we also need help keeping the area beautiful.
Since the initial garden is along route 88,
there is constantly a plethora of garbage that accumulates.
The garbage does not only make the area look ugly,
but it could also damage some of the plants.
Again, we will provide any materials you need.
